  • Soul Food Sessions with Ebony Shalom

    Friday 28th August

A monthly experience in self-discovery and soulful connection.

Soul Food Sessions™ are immersive monthly experiences created to support you in reconnecting with yourself through practical, holistic exploration of your energetic nature. Each gathering offers a different pathway to self-awareness through guided practices, reflection and meaningful connection in a nurturing and supportive space.

No two sessions are ever the same.

Session Two: Why Do Some Patterns Keep Repeating?

Join Ebony Shalom for the second Soul Food Session™, where you'll explore the connection between your life experiences, energy centres, and the patterns you notice within yourself.

Throughout life, our energetic nature adapts to our experiences. Some adaptations support us through challenging periods — but what happens when life moves forward and the pattern remains? This session invites you to bring greater awareness to your energetic nature, empowering you to consciously nourish your energy, support greater flow and create space for something new.

Come exactly as you are, with an open mind and a willingness to explore. Your experience is uniquely your own.

    Your experience includes:

    - Intuitive herbal tea selection, with energy centre associations revealed during the evening

    - Soul Food workbook exploring the seven energy centres

    - Guided energy centre scan and recalibration

    - Introduction to herbs, crystals and simple Soul Food practices, including a Crystal Lucky Dip

    - A personalised Soul Food Nourishment Plan to take into everyday life

    - Herbal tea and nourishing refreshments

    - A welcoming community and supportive space

Adjoined to Island Healing, Living Space is a studio gallery offering artworks and artist-designed products, alongside creative and healing practices grounded in community.

Brought to life by Melissa McDevitt-Weston, a Bunurong/Boon Wurrung and Yorta Yorta artist, and Alisoun Neville, a multidisciplinary artist and arts and somatic therapist, Living Space welcomes all communities into respectful engagement with art, making, and ways of knowing that honour Country and each other.

Their workshops and events offer beautiful opportunities to slow down, create, and connect — extensions of the same intention we hold here at Island Healing.

A Place to Belong: Women's Community Circle

In a world that often leaves us feeling isolated, scattered, and unheard—there's power in coming together.

    You're not alone in feeling:

    - Disconnected despite being constantly "connected"

    - Like you're carrying invisible burdens no one understands

    - Hungry for authentic conversation beyond small talk

    - Tired of wearing masks that hide who you really are

    - Longing for a space where your voice truly matters

    Here's what we believe:

Every woman has a story that deserves to be heard. When we share our experiences—the messy, beautiful, complicated truth of being human—something profound happens. The shame that keeps us small begins to lose its grip. The stories we thought made us broken become the very threads that connect us.

    Why these circles matter:

In a culture that profits from our isolation, gathering with intention is a radical act. When women share space and stories, we remember our strength. We learn that we are not alone. We share wisdom with other women who need it. We realise that what we thought was our weakness is often our greatest source of wisdom. We discover that healing happens not in hiding, but in being witnessed.

    What to expect:

A monthly gathering of women from all walks of life, creating a brave space for authentic sharing, deep listening, and genuine connection. No advice-giving, no fixing—just the transformative power of being truly seen and heard.

Some circles may carry a theme, for example grief, relationships, etc

Free. Confidential. Open to all women.

Because your story matters. Because connection heals. Because together, we rise.
